Mike Knight Featured On Doug’s Dirt Diary Radio

Ripley, NY – Young gun talent Mike Knight, 20, of Ripley, NY, who burst upon the dirt Late Model scene two years ago, appears on Doug’s Dirt Diary radio program. Knight drives the Andy Knight Motorsports owned Arrowhead Wine Cellars, Mobilia Fruit Farm, Ottaway’s Auto Body, Knight Farms, RJB Construction, Chess’ Pizza sponsored Rocket Chassis/Craiger Racing Engines/Genesis Shocks #9k. Knight was in his hauler and on his way to Lernerville Speedway for two nights of Late Model racing when he recorded the interview. Knight talks about the events he was getting ready to compete in, spoke about his first career Late Model win early in the season and remembered his first few years in the sport. He also chatted about the influence of his family and the business they run together and future plans.

Knight, a regular at Eriez Speedway in Hammett, PA who is leading the Late Model and Limited Late Model point standings, raced Thursday night at Lernerville Speedway for the #1 Cochran Stars of NASCAR Night where he finished 21st in the A Main.

This weekend Knight will be in competition at Lernerville Speedway on Friday night, Stateline Speedway on Saturday night followed by Eriez Speedway on Sunday night.

Last weekend Knight competed at Woodhull Speedway in Woodhull, NY for the United Late Model Series (ULMS) race where he finished fourth in the A Main.
