Knight prepares for war with the World of Outlaws after some winning
battles on his home turf.

Ripley, NY (July 27, 2010) – Fresh off a win at Eriez Speedway, “Hollywood,” Mike Knight gears up to raise the bar as far as competition in the coming week. “Any chance to race with the World of Outlaws series is a great learning experience,” remarked the driver of the 9K. “It’s especially helpful when the Outlaws come to you,” Knight laughed.
It will be no laughing matter come later on this week when Knight with his family owned team will compete against the best there is in the late model world. Knight will take a few stabs at the World of Outlaw series as they make appearances at Central PA Speedway (Clearfield) and Sharon Speedway (Hartford, OH) then the team heads north to take on the best of the Lucas Oil Late Model Series at their next stop, Utica/Rome Speedway (NY).
“Its going to be a long week without a shop and working out of the trailor for a few nights in a row. I will, like always, give it my best and put on a show for the fans. I’d like to make each race, make the right decisions and maybe put myself right in the mix with the big dollar teams,” said an enthusiastic Knight.
July for Knight and the 9K team has been highlighted by a United Late Model Series (ULMS) win at Stateline Speedway (NY) which brings his tally to 4. The best Knight has finished among the World of Outlaws is a fourth place finish that garnered 10k for the team via the Ohio Speedweeks Alltel All-Star Challenge.
